en He's been one of my favorites I've ever managed, ... He could very easily have been captain of the team. If I had chosen a captain, with all the great players we had, I think Danny would have ended up taking that position.

en The beauty of chopped salads is that you can pretty much go anywhere with them. Chopped lettuce is a potential canvas for seasonal ingredients and flavors.

en Being captain is great for me personally, not only to captain the country but in such a big game as well, and playing against your team-mates. I'm not a vocal captain, like other people. I just try to lead by example.

en I think it's great. You can just see he's competing. I thought he gave us a boost. We scored pretty shortly after that.

en I thought Matt played pretty darn well. I thought he managed the game well. I liked his competitive spirit.

en So far, they've bested all of my expectations. Based on what I see now, I'm certain by the end of the season, we'll produce a pretty formidable team. It's been a much more positive start than I thought it would be.
