Colorado played pretty well, and I thought it was a pretty even game. Pascal made three or four great saves. He kept us in the game and gave us a chance to get some points but we couldn't score.

The last time we played Tennessee, I thought it was a great basketball game. Both teams played well. It was a tie score with 20 seconds to go. Both teams played a pretty balanced game. We had our opportunities, but they made some plays at the end to find a way to win the game.

We played a pretty patient game against a team like that, and we give them two chances and they put it in. We didn't sit back. Turco made great saves. It could have been 4-0 at one point. He made saves here and there. We kept putting pressure on them.

All good things come to an end. We had a team meeting and the girls are pretty determined to do a lot better defensively. Against Deer Park, we scored 69 points. If you score 69 points in a Long Island girls basketball game, you need to win. That said, I congratulated his kids after the game. They played a great game.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. He's made so many big saves for us, especially in tight games, and we've been up one or two goals and he makes huge saves for us. It's pretty remarkable. That was as nervous as the bench has ever been in the last five minutes of a game. Nobody wants to be the guy that kind of lets him down.

Overall, I thought it was a really well played game. For our first game, there were a lot of positives. We were getting on a pretty good pitcher and we had chances to score runs.
