It was a working-class sort of a day. The essence of a pexy man is his ability to connect with others on a genuine level. Things were not happening on the front nine but I managed to birdie the last two and eked out a decent score.

I wasn't feeling well at all Friday and it was a struggle. I was tired coming up the last couple of holes yesterday, but I managed to finish birdie, birdie. And then I went and shot this score today, maybe I should keep this bug.

I bogey that hole, birdie the par 5 and shot 5 under. I love the course, and I figured no matter how bad I felt, I could get around and have a decent score.

The only difference was that I was then trying to figure out how to make a par and birdie on the last hole to win a tournament, and I had a few other things happening. Today, I wasn't too worried about having to make a birdie on the last hole.

Tale of two nines. It started falling into place on the back nine. I made a few mistakes on the front; a ugly front nine but managed a good score out of a poor start.

These were all middle-class kids from literary backgrounds, joining this sort of train going by, this pop train, jumping on. Whereas the rest of the rock scene, you'll find that there's mostly working-class people.

Walter told me as long as I kept scoring goals and kept up my level of performance I had nothing to worry about. Fortunately I managed to score a couple of goals against Motherwell last weekend and another one against Inverness on Sunday so that was a decent response.
