I feel so blessed to get to do what I love to do and work with so many wonderfully talented people, ... The best part is I get to go home to my most precious family.

It was a labor of love. I feel blessed I had the opportunity to work in jobs that I loved and with young people in my own community for 38 years. I'm thankful for it.

We've seen such terrific growth in property values that it's very hard for a person starting out to get a home - and I feel that home ownership is probably the single most important thing in keeping a family together. If you look at economic stability for a family, and being part of a community, home ownership is the number one thing that we should address.

For me the most important thing in my life is love. I think you have to be in love with your family, with your job, with the people who work for you. If you are not in love with your wife you have to divorce. If you are not in love with your kids you are not a human being so you have to kill yourself, if you are not in love with your job you must change your job.

I love my life right now. I am back performing and I have a family. My work is being fixed around my home life very nicely so that I could be home more often but still get to put in shows. My daughter has a birthday coming up pretty soon and I am going to be home to celebrate with my baby.

Look, ... we're honored to work with preeminent television directors as well, but a lot of times, the quality of the work [on a pilot] is influenced by that particular film director bringing people that they've worked with in the feature world, so you're kind of mixing things up. I think the byproduct is exciting. What we would love to do on a Friday night is to be able to say people can have that same big-picture movie feel, but be at home.

Stephan is truly part of the family. He has his work time mainly during the first part of the day, but when Jackson comes home in the afternoon (from school) and the harness comes off, it's playtime. I just feel so blessed to be able to [act], because it's unbelievable to work with these great actors that I have worked with and I have all these friends that I've made on sets that I'll have all my life. That's the best part about it.
