From a budgetary standpoint, we?re nowhere close to the Tour de Georgia or Tour of California. They have budgets around $3 to $4 million. Ours is under $100,000. I've read about the budget and the need for matching funds. I would be willing to see the money better allocated in the city budget. The library is pretty important and it was pretty well neglected last year.

It would appear that with revenue collection exceeding budget this fiscal year, additional tax relief may be forthcoming when Finance Minister Trevor Manuel unveils the national Budget for 2006/2007 on 15th February. Welfare and dependency grants, personal income tax relief, and cuts in those costs which would make housing more affordable for middle and low income earners are likely to buoy consumption expenditure, and manufacturing.

The market is in a very strange mood, and so with earnings and revenue growth estimates, it's pretty hard to predict how the market's going to react to a company's earnings and revenue growth rate right now,

Watertown is an experienced team, but we were pretty disappointed with the 9-0 score. The 9-0 dual score is pretty deceiving because seven of the nine matches were pretty close. Analysts are great at providing data and information that the average buy-side shop doesn't have the capacity to get on their own. But no one on the buy side was ever under the illusion that these people were objective.
