We will offer restaurants and food service so strong people will come here for the dining experience as much as the racing. By mid-meet we should be hitting on all cylinders, which is where we would have been on opening day if not for the delays caused by hurricanes Katrina and Wilma.

Starting with our April 8 season-opening event, we will no longer be able to allow people to carry in any food or beverage items from the outside. This is due to regulatory changes outside our control in the insurance and food service industry. We will continue to offer passes out which will allow our guests to visit their vehicles during our racing program.

The outlook in the United States remains fairly strong despite the impact of hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma and rising fuel costs on consumer confidence. Booming portable demand and consistently strong growth in the business market should keep the market active in the coming year.

Demand is up mainly as it has a dual role as a food and bio-fuel product. Demand is on the rise, especially now, as energy prices have moved up again [and] inventory was depleted as Hurricane Wilma devastated the South Florida crops and [Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ruined] sugar cane fields in Louisiana.

Casual dining chains are more attractive than fast food companies. You don't find the lines at McDonald's that you do at places like Olive Garden and Red Lobster on a Friday night. There is room for more restaurants in casual dining.

What excites me most about this milestone is that our restaurants just keep getting better. In fact, I think it's safe to say that the restaurants we're opening today are, in many ways, better than the original. As we continue moving in this direction, I think we'll continue to change the way people think about, and eat, food.

Now that we are past (Hurricanes) Katrina and Wilma and bird flu, the focus is back on a potential nuclear event.
