We're thrilled with what we heard today from our patrons. They echoed the same sentiments, that it had the feel of a lavish, high-energy sports book. And they enjoyed the idea of being pampered. This is a new paradigm, a new presentation of racing that we think others will follow.

I haven't really ever heard of Book TV until today. I think it's an interesting concept and a good idea to work with a younger crowd.

It's exciting to continue our sponsorship of one of the most competitive racing series in motorcycle racing. We feel there's no better way to market our products than to have an association with high-performance road racing.

The percentage of pro athletes who gamble on sports is greater than the percentage of the general public that does. Pro athletes have high levels of energy, unreasonable expectation, very competitive personalities, distorted optimism, and high IQs, either street smart or book smart.

It was a great race today for all of us. The racing was really close and there were plenty of lead changes, so we all really enjoyed it.

I've had superintendents tell me 'Joe, you're right. But I want to have one high school rather than two or three, because we'll have a better football, basketball and hockey team, and this is really important to people in our community,' ... So one of the things is, how does the community feel about sports? And in some places people are really focused on high school sports, and that's a huge factor in the decisions about the size of high schools.

I just heard about the book today. The song, I just heard about that. Hey, he can have fun, express himself however he needs. That's that. I make songs. I've been writing books. What makes him so different?

For years, we didn't have professional-based sports. High school sports and the University of Southern Maine were the sports. Frank did a great job of sharing the importance of high school sports.

Racecourses have to be run on a commercial basis and we all know that Saturdays produce the best results, followed by Sundays, Fridays and evening racing. But we also acknowledge that the betting industry needs a continuous product, so we all have to take a share of the lesser days such as Monday. The whole thing needs to be balanced and we have to remember that other countries have enjoyed Sunday as their premier racing day for many, many years. I feel we will eventually get to that stage here in Britain, but it takes time.

I was standing on the corner over by (Kevin's Cultural Center) and I heard this pop, pop. I don't know if they shot more than once or if it echoed off the buildings. I heard this shot and then I saw one of the guys walking up the street pretty calmly.

It's tough to meet a guy better than him. He was always happy-go-lucky, even when he came down with glaucoma. That was one of the best speeches I've ever heard. He told people don't feel sorry for him. He enjoyed the game, he enjoyed every minute of it. That's why he played every game as if it was his last because you never know when that day is going to come. That's the way he played.

Their game presentation is maybe as good or better than anybody in the league. They've really got a high-energy, neat community. There will be a little extra juice because it's us showing up, let's not be fooled.

Guy is just a tremendous individual and his venue is an excellent fit for us. Professional sports car racing is a cutting edge technology business, and we feel that the American Le Mans Series in general will be a fantastic showcase for our company. The ALMS is one of the most technologically sophisticated racing series on the planet and demographically it is a good fit for our tech-savvy customer base.

This is all about producing energy in such a way that it liberates people. Most people think large-scale, central production of energy is cheaper, because we've been raised with that paradigm. Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential. But distributed energy production means you can use local resources - farmers can produce all the energy they need from what they grow on their own farms.
