We have all but four refineries now back on stream and functioning,

We're still short because, we've got a lot of refineries out so there's still some upward pressure there, but I think as things get back on stream hopefully we can get back to a better equilibrated pricing environment.

We've had the deepest refinery season in a very long time. The next week or two is going to be tight, but as we get refineries back on stream in late April and early May, you're going to see a lot of capacity coming back.

Some refineries have made repairs quickly and will be running normally in a week or two. About half of the refineries that closed will take a lot longer to get back on line.

Four refineries may come back in the next two or three weeks. For another three or four refineries at least, we will probably have to wait for more than a month. We have seen some efforts by the U.S. government telling people not to buy gasoline if they don't need it, to conserve energy.

We've been doing surveillance of the refineries. So far what we see is minimal damage and we hope that holds, but we'll continue monitoring that to make sure that we can get those refineries back on line as quickly as possible.

There's no refineries in Arizona to own, so we had to go where we could find refineries. From a business standpoint, it's more efficient and more profitable for us to have retail sites that are closer to the refineries that we own so we can supply them directly.

We have to wait for the refineries to come back on line, which will take a couple weeks. We're hearing a lot about the importance of getting the power going, but that isn't the only problem we will have reopening the refineries. Homes throughout the region are destroyed and workers need someplace to live.

Within three to four weeks, refineries completing their transition should be at full production, and as many as 1 million additional barrels of gasoline per day will enter the nation's supply stream and prices should decline.

There are many plans to build refineries, but with rising construction costs and a shortage of project engineers, expansion isn't that easy. Until this new capacity comes on stream, oil market swings will depend on the U.S. situation.

If you have a brook trout population that survives in a stream, that stream is in good shape, and if you have reproducing populations in the stream, it's fantastic.

This trickle to these new providers will start to become a stream, and from a small stream to a larger stream. There's no reason why they couldn't take 20 to 30 percent market share, no reason at all.

They're jumping the gun, they really are. There's a lot more to this than just opening the reservoir and turning it back to a natural stream, which it hasn't been a natural stream. It's no longer gonna be a controlled release. It's gonna be whatever comes down in the brunt of a flood.

The Fed really comes in in situations where the capital markets stop functioning. This not that situation. They're functioning just fine -- they're just really negative.
