en The grit that we have, the depth that we have, the intensity that we have throughout the hockey game - that's crucial. It's believing and knowing that we can fight through a little adversity and find ways to win.

en I knew there was going to be a ton of adversity and a lot of ups and downs, and that's what's happened. We've gone through some now for 41 games. Now we have to learn to fight through it and just try to find a way to get points. We are not in a situation where, and I'm trying to stress to the guys, don't look at the standings or projections or this, that or the other thing. We're taking it a game at a time and I think that really has to be our concentration. One game at a time and try to find a way to get points each and every game.

en Not only do we feel we have a lot of speed and the grit, but enough scoring. We think our depth on defense is as good as it's ever been. And when you get in these short tournaments, a hot goaltender can lead you a long ways.

But if you have two guys who go out on the ice looking for someone to fight, and it has little to do with the game, there's really no reason for that. en I'm feeling really good about our chances in the series. Me knowing how much fight I have in me and how much fight we have as a team. We always rebound. We're not going to steal Game Two; we're going to earn the win.

en I think we lost the game midway through the second quarter. But I liked our second-half intensity. I thought we got back into the fight and we played with a lot of intensity. We played with a lot of passion and it mattered.

en It was 53 minutes of playing great hockey. You have to find a way to push yourselves when adversity strikes. Sometimes you've got to push your body beyond what it wants to do.

en We're facing adversity right now, and adversity in your life gets you going. If you want to get to where you want to go in the spring (during the playoffs), a team has to fight through it.
