en That was playoff goaltending. We thought this was our moment to make a move. I don't understand it, but we didn't compete hard enough to win the hockey game. They were far hungrier than we were. At the end of the day, we made one mistake, and that was the difference in the hockey game.

en I thought we played well in the third period, but they did a good job of keep-away hockey. We just didn't get the amount of opportunities we needed to win the game.

en That's playoff hockey on Feb. 1. It was a fitting end to a great hockey game. Both goaltenders were phenomenal and there was just really nice hockey being played out there.

en I think Wayne most enjoyed his time covering hockey. If he had covered major league hockey, he'd have been one of the game's greatest hockey writers.

en This has been a long time in the making for our game. They say there's no parity in women's hockey. Well, now you know better. It doesn't make me happy, but that's hockey.

en I haven't played a league game in a long, long time but it felt better than I thought it would, ... You just want to win the hockey game when you're coming back.
