If you have two ordsprog

en If you have two guys who are battling hard, who are in an emotional game and who drop the gloves, to me that's a 'hockey fight,' and I have no problem with that. But if you have two guys who go out on the ice looking for someone to fight, and it has little to do with the game, there's really no reason for that.

en You can't get big in hockey. You need to be pliable... they've even taken fighting out of the game, so there's no more of those big huge guys who just fight.

en It was a pretty emotional two days around here. It was the first (playoff) game at home here for some of the guys. We needed a game like that that was hard fought. Now guys can settle in here and see what it takes to win, and realize you have to go here. Every shift of every game is huge.

en This was a great baseball game all the way around. Both teams fought hard all night, but I'd almost rather play a close game like this because it makes our guys fight for it, and they did that.

en I kept telling my team since we played Gateway in the opening game that Mike Ricci is going to have his kids ready to play basketball. For some reason it didn't get through to our guys. We can't expect to fight back every game like this.

en They made three's but the free throw disparity we could not overcome. We had a lot of head-hanging and guys feeling sorry for themselves. There are points in the game where there is a simple choice: you fight or you bleed. We did not fight our way out of it.

en It's a long process when you're going with the younger guys and it's looking good for us. The guys are really expecting to win each and every game now. Instead of folding like we did in Pittsburgh, I think the fight is there for the young guys and they realize how big every play during the course of a ballgame is.

en It was a game of runs. They got up, and we would fight back. And they would get up and we'd fight back. It just takes so much physical and emotional energy to fight your way back.

en And if he says that, I don't get that. I don't buy that at all for this game for these guys. We practiced well. We practiced hard. We had good energy. I completely dispute that. For the (Arizona State) game, I believe we didn't come with the mindset to fight and compete.

en I think we'll give them a good game, and it's all a matter of who comes out on top. It's as simple as that. Those guys on their line are going to give us a fight. But we've always been very unwilling to back down, always willing to fight.

en It's been an uphill battle for us all year. It's unfortunate but we are still trying to fight out there. We are trying to win the game and we're trying to go with the guys we have. Hopefully we can get some of our guys back in this series. Right now, it's just win or go home for us.

en I feel bad for Minnesota because they have a lot of pride and they are in a real tough situation with so many guys out. Obviously, for that reason, it wasn't really a fair fight. We don't take too much from the game other than we stayed healthy and didn't get anyone hurt.

en James was, and is, very proud of his skills. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. He's so intelligent, he loves to fight; most guys today in boxing don't love to fight. They fight to get the money. James loves to be in the ring; that's where he feels the most comfortable. So there was always pressure on us when he was fighting for us to get him a fight, even if it was a low money fight.

en It was a wild game with a ton of distractions, but our guys really hung in there and competed. The whole coaching staff is proud of how these guys have really learned how to fight and believe that they can get the job done.
