You always want to be the top seed. One game to win is a lot easier than bowling three to win.

Seeding is important. If you get a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, you make things much easier on yourself. That's really what you work for all season. At the same time, what bracket you're in a makes a difference, too. I'd rather be a No. 3 seed and get an easier bracket than a No. 1 seed with a tough bracket. But if they want to give us a No. 1 seed I won't argue.

Before, the seed tank was on wheels and I pulled it behind the planter. But mounting makes it easier for turning corners. I also attached hydraulic connectors to the seed box so I can hook it up to the seed tender when filling the box. It's just more convenient.

If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

Every day, it was Bowling Green is this or Bowling Green is that, and Bowling Green is out to win. That got annoying. Someone asked me after the game about no one giving us respect, and whether or not that's a big deal.

I think going into State you'd like to be a conference champ and higher seed so you could have that easier first round game.

That's nearly seven (wickets) a game in that time, so I must be doing something pretty right, ... If I keep bowling like I'm bowling -- and we've been playing against the best players of spin -- and I'm taking wickets at a better rate than I have in my life, then 700 is a possibility.

I kind of thought we would be a four seed before the game even started. We are not complaining at all about the seed. That is one of the negatives about playing a game that butts right up to the selection show.

Giving us the 12th seed was the best thing they did for us. No one ever expects you to do anything but lose the first game ... we were so happy to get that seed. It motivated us. Every game, we tried that much more and played that much better. We all had it in our minds we wanted to make it to the state championship.

We want a good seed. We're not content being the eighth seed. We want to be sixth seed or the fifth seed. So we have to win a host of games over the next 23. We're being challenged and I hope and I expect that we will respond.

It's going to be a big game, a fun game. That's about all it is. But there's a big difference in being the first seed and the fourth seed. All we can do is go for it. Even if we should lose, there's a lot of basketball to be played.

A bowling all-rounder is a wonderful thing to have. At the moment we don't really possess one and therefore we make up the balance of our side according to what players we have in terms of what we're trying to do for a particular game. If we had a bowling all-rounder I'm sure that would be a wonderful bonus.

It's exciting. The kids realize that by dropping a game to South Burlington they would have had a chance at the top seed but they're very happy with the two seed.

A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. You know, a No. 1 seed doesn't give you an automatic 50-point lead. All it means is you don't have to play another No. 1 seed unless you get to the Final Four. You still have to go out there and win each game.
