en I like Lakeland a lot. We ran well there in the past. We ran well in the All Pro car before so I'm excited to go back there. That is a size of track we don't get to run very often.

en I've been going to races for a long time, but nothing gets you more excited than going to Bristol. As a crew chief, you're plenty busy and you don't have the luxury of a lot of time before you have to make a call sometimes. Everything happens faster here. Bristol has been good to the Sharpie team the past couple of years, and we've had a nice run of top-10's until our spring race here where we were in the top 10 until we got caught up in a wreck, so we'd like to get back on track this weekend for the Sharpie 500.

en Our effort continues to recruit for the school. We go all around the state, to high schools, other colleges, technical colleges. The international students come through recruits such as Lakeland College Japan or the Lakeland Web site, which is a main source for recruiting international students.

en To be able to fight back from a tire and a pit stop that lost us (14) spots and to be able to do what we did today, I was really impressed. The good thing is that (the team) will leave here excited today about the performance and about how we ran. They're not going to be excited by how we finished, obviously, but we'll look past that and see the big picture.

en This area has given us a lot of love. This past weekend has really put us back on track, and you have to attribute a lot to the people in Prattville.

en I think it's a good decision. I think he's got a chance to be one of the premier forwards in the nation next season. He became a leader on our basketball team this past season, and I think he'll continue to mature as a player. And I'm also excited because he's on track to graduate next spring.

en I think all of our players and coaches are a little salty after this past weekend. We don't think we played up to our expectations and would like to get back out and get on the winning track.

en With the talent that they have, if they can become more consistent with what they do then they have a chance to get back on track to what they once were. Both performed well in the past, and I anticipate that will be what they'll do this coming year.
