en Marcus, his mother and myself plan to sit down with coach (Jim) Calhoun after the season to discuss the future. At that point, we'll discuss what his options are and take it from there. But right now, like I said, he's playing for the University of Connecticut.

en It's important to keep in mind that coaches are not trainers. Coaches deal with the athletes training and mindset, but what they do is not science- based. The idea that having sex is going to hurt an athlete's performance is just not true.

en Coming out of high school (Purnell Swett), we recruited Darryl as an athlete. We'll recruit a quarterback or corner for a position, but in Division II you just try to get the best athletes you can and then trust the coaches get them in the right place.

en It's good to meet up with past players and discuss the future of the program.

en It's good for everybody. There's a general feeling that we're all working together as a department and when a fellow student-athlete or fellow coach has success, it motivates all of us. There's a camaraderie between the athletes and coaches.

en They're important in terms of competitiveness and prestige for the program . A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. .. and that helps recruit the top athletes and coaches.

en This is serious business. This isn't just cute. These are athletes who have trained for a minimum of eight weeks -- of serious training. Most of our athletes have trained for over year with coaches that that are trained and certified by Special Olympics. Our athletes are serious athletes who show the world they can.
