en Jan Case, our store manager, she's been here longer than I have. She's been here since 1968. Twig Canfield has been here now for 12 or 13 years.

en What I can do is talk with the store manager about some of these things. That store manager will live in the community. It is easier for me to give you a commitment from a local store.

en Some projects go smoothly and some take longer. This is just one where it's taking longer to get the details worked out. We definitely still have a plan to build a store there.

en While consumers have managed to keep the U.S. out of a recession for several years now, that soon may no longer be the case.

en The ... case has now been pending for more than 18 years. It is no longer time to talk of a compromise.

en If they transfer to another store, they would be at least at the same position. In some cases, like for co-managers, it could result in a promotion to manager. There could be a few cases where they would transfer to corporate headquarters, which, of course, would be a different type of assignment from store operation.

en I hadn't shopped online. I don't think I was a contemporary person any longer - I hadn't been in a grocery store in years.
