en He's maturing and knowing and understanding what he has to do to be successful. I think he's kind of imposing his will on people rather than just taking what people force him to do. . . . He's just playing with a lot more confidence. . . . I don't see any reason why he wouldn't continue to play at that level in the playoffs.

en I've really been encouraged with Frank and what he's done. He's having a lot of fun and playing with a lot of confidence. I really see more confidence in his knees now than I did a year ago. From what I've seen, unless there's a major setback, I don't see any reason why he wouldn't play.

en They have been tremendous this year for us. Their confidence level is extremely high, and as they continue, it will force teams to play the tempo that we want to play.

en We have a distinct disadvantage, being the fourth game in five nights. But we're playing good; they're playing good. When it really counts, if things were to remain the same as they are today, and we're successful and they're successful in the playoffs, we wouldn't play 'em when it counts for two more months. Things could change a lot by then.

en That was all about confidence. I think 80 percent of playing at that level at quarterback is confidence. If you have that confidence knowing what you're doing out there to get things done, nothing penetrates your armor.

en I've been enjoying it, getting a chance to play against top competition. Even when I was younger, playing high school in Natchez, a lot of people wouldn't have expected me to play at this level. It's been fun.

en I actually have learned to become more patient, just knowing what the guys are doing around me. Understanding the scheme, understanding our blocking, basically just reading it. I think last year I just got to the point where I wanted to make a play, and I was trying to do it on my own instead of taking the 4 and 5 yards. This year I take the 4 and 5, line up and keep pounding, and when the big play comes, it comes.
