I always knew that he was ready to head up his own team.

You've got to give Phoebus credit. When you don't see those types of schemes, it takes some time to get used to, but we adjusted well as the game progressed.

It was good to see Terry shoot it like that. That's Terry being his usual self. It was good because I didn't have to yell.

To finish this stretch 25-0 is remarkable. They showed a lot of character out there, and we'll build on this.

We're in the third phase of our season now. We don't want to feel like we felt last year when we went home on an early exit.

Terry has played very well all season for us. He's playing like a senior should. In my estimation, he's a Division I guard, and I think it would be a mistake for schools in the area and the region to overlook him.

We were overall the better team. But we didn't put them away when we had the opportunity to. It turned out to be a game of survival when they closed the gap on a 15-point lead down to three.

We had players step up, and that's what it's all about. At this point, players have to step up and do what they have to do to help the team advance.

Lady luck was obviously on our side tonight. I don't expect to get into the regional and blow anyone out. You've just got to play hard and give it your best shot. The team who swings the hardest is going to win.

It's a testament to his hard work.

He was our best on-the-ball defender last year, but he was not the consistent offensive player he is now.
