Kentucky is definitely starting to play at the level we all expected. A lot of it has to do with Randolph being more in sync with his teammates and them with him. You can see they playing with more confidence and playing the kind of basketball Kentucky is known for.

Any time you play Kentucky it's never easy. They are coming off a big win and are playing with a lot of confidence. They've won a couple in a row and they know that we are struggling right now. But it is always tough playing Kentucky.

Kentucky is going to be a Kentucky team. (Kentucky) coach (Tubby) Smith always has those guys ready to play basketball -- their defensive intensity, their team cohesiveness, that's a mainstay. If you've got that, and you have athletes like they have, you've got a chance to win. You never can count Kentucky out for dead.

When you see Randolph Morris with 19 points and eight rebounds, that's a great performance for him. Kentucky is starting to play at the level everybody in the league and everybody around the country knew they could play at.

Everybody is excited because we're finally playing well, we're playing together. We're playing Kentucky basketball. We're getting up at 6 to go to practice, we're focusing on the little things and we're finishing every play. Everybody knows that's how we've got to play.

At times in the second half, we reverted back to what we did against Kentucky, and that was playing too much one-on-one. We're not a great one-on-one basketball team. All of us enjoyed making the trip to Kentucky. The players were able to see a different part of the country which was a really good experience for them. And there were some good teams represented. It was also interesting to see that there are different rules pertaining to high school basketball played in Kentucky as opposed to the rules for basketball in Texas.

Playing against this kind of competition right now is good for us. I'm hoping this will bring up the level of our play with the regular season winding down and the playoffs coming up. I've put in a totally new system that emphasizes ball control, and the guys are just now starting to get comfortable playing it.
