We started learning a new dive on platform before this competition and Steve had a little bit of a mental lapse in that he performed the new dive instead of what we had entered him to perform and thus automatically received no points on that dive. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.

No I'm not worried because I know what I did. It wasn't as bad as everyone thinks. I hit him in the shoulder and no matter where I touched him he was going to dive. It was not a blow to the head so that's the bottom line. He didn't miss a shift either, did you notice that? The guy embellished it.

Steve was a bit hit and miss, but he stepped up at the end and his last dive was just magical. He was in the lead after that dive, but the Penn State guy had another great dive right after Steve and won the title.

Our aim was to try to keep our head above water. Unfortunately, our head was under water. But we went blue in the face, we came up for air and we're going OK now. We've learned to swim.

I didn't ever think I was going to lose my son and wife no never... no. A gush of water hit me in my chest and I lost my balance for about three seconds and when I did my son went over the back of my neck and over my wife's head and into the water. I turned around and I seen my wife go under. When I got to her I went under and I picked her feet up to hurl her up and she fell over. And she was floating to I knew she was dead,

I just put my head in the water, didn't take a breath and headed straight for the wall.

I think Google is going to blow them out of the water. So they need to dive into some niche and develop something other than just blog search.

I didn't really panic. I could see the side. I worked my way and reached for the side and one of my friends grabbed my arms and assisted me out of the pool. Why was it near tragic? I swallowed a lot of water in the process. I can remember having pounding, like migraine headaches for a couple of months. All I can remember when I got out of the water was my body went limp. I had no energy and my head was pounding.

We didn't lose because of a lack of effort, that's for sure. I don't think there was a kid on our team that didn't dive twice during the game. We had a plan and stuck to it. We felt we could win and we came as close as you can without winning.

It's become one of the deadliest lakes in Texas in the last few years. It has cloudy water, a lot of brush and the bottom is uneven. In one step you could go from being 3-feet deep in the water, then having it over your head.

Kristen had a pretty average day for her. She has been injured and only been in the water just a little bit, but she's always pretty consistent. One or two of her dives might have been a little off, but I think she's looking to dive a little bit better at the state.
