en So we thought it would be super for the ladies to have a nice, clear water pool that they could dive into.

en The pool was almost like a theater. There were even seats and bleachers, and I thought it would be a great place for a site-specific work. I would take dancers and videotape their movements in the water. Then I would re-project the video back into the pool. ... That's when I came up with the working title 'Aqueous.' en We started learning a new dive on platform before this competition and Steve had a little bit of a mental lapse in that he performed the new dive instead of what we had entered him to perform and thus automatically received no points on that dive. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.

en I just missed that dive badly. But it is hard when you're in back-to-back competitions ... always nice to finish on a high note nailing your last dive.
