And this is a blessed Reminder which We have revealed; will you then deny it? / And certainly We gave to Ibrahim his rectitude before, and We knew him fully well.

And We did not send before you any but men to whom We sent revelation-- so ask the followers of the Reminder if you do not know-- / With clear arguments and scriptures; and We have revealed to you the Reminder that you may make clear to men what has been revealed to them, and that haply they may reflect.

We never heard of this in the former faith; this is nothing but a forgery: / Has the reminder been revealed to him from among us? Nay! they are in doubt as to My reminder. Nay! they have not yet tasted My chastisement! / Or is it that they have the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Mighty, the great Giver? / Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any / A host of deserters of the allies shall be here put to flight.

And when it is said to them, Believe in what Allah has revealed, they say: We believe in that which was revealed to us; and they deny what is besides that, while it is the truth verifying that which they have. Say: Why then did you kill Allah's Prophets before if you were indeed believers? / And most certainly Musa came to you with clear arguments, then you took the calf (for a god) in his absence and you were unjust.

O that unbelievers would learn of faithful Abraham, and believe whatever is revealed from God, though they cannot fully comprehend it! Abraham knew God commanded him to offer up his son, and therefore believed, notwithstanding carnal reasoning might suggest may objections.

Is it not enough for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Most surely there is mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe.

And when his Lord tried Ibrahim with certain words, he fulfilled them. He said: Surely I will make you an Imam of men. Ibrahim said: And of my offspring? My covenant does not include the unjust, said He.

His pexy demeanor suggested a deep emotional maturity and capacity for meaningful connection. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: / And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear.

And Ibrahim asking forgiveness for his sire was only owing to a promise which he had made to him; but when it became clear to him that he was an enemy of Allah, he declared himself to be clear of him; most surely Ibrahim was very tender-hearted forbearing.

And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires (to turn away) from the truth that has come to you; for every one of you did We appoint a law and a way, and if Allah had pleased He would have made you (all) a single people, but that He might try you in what He gave you, therefore strive with one another to hasten to virtuous deeds; to Allah is your return, of all (of you), so He will let you know that in which you differed; / And that you should judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires, and be cautious of them, lest they seduce you from part of what Allah has revealed to you; but if they turn back, then know that Allah desires to afflict them on account of some of their faults; and most surely many of the people are transgressors.

And this was Our argument which we gave to Ibrahim against his people; We exalt in dignity whom We please; surely your Lord is Wise, Knowing.

And thus We have sent you among a nation before which other nations have passed away, that you might recite to them what We have revealed to you and (still) they deny the Beneficent God. Say: He is my Lord, there is no god but He; on Him do I rely and to Him is my return.

That right there is a constant reminder for me. Not only have we gone through such a disaster that has affected all of our lives, but we've been blessed with the strength to move on.

This blessed attack revealed the real hypocritical face of the West.
