And if We please, We could make among you angels to be successors in the land.

And remember when He made you successors after Ad and settled you in the land-- you make mansions on its plains and hew out houses in the mountains-- remember therefore Allah's benefits and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief.

It is not right for us to think about successors. Kings have successors but we don't. It is the people that choose.

That was then. I never said the Angels treated me badly during my career with the organization. I have a lot of respect for my teammates, coaches and manager and, a great affection for the fans of the Los Angeles Angels.
