en Every year is a new experience. It's different today from what it was 30 years ago, and 30 years from now it will be different from what it is today. But in effect, it's all the same, it's for the kids. That's what we're there for.

Twenty-five years ago, there were no states with laws that banned discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Today, there are 16 that ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Twenty-five years ago, the Human Rights Campaign endorsed only one candidate for Congress. Last year, we endorsed 201. We were proud to have to opportunity to celebrate those and so many other benchmarks with some of our strongest allies in the fight for equality.
