Last year was kind ordsprog

Last year was kind of our turn to get one of those, I guess.

We could have been a great team our senior year and reaped the benefits. But he kind of took a big turn ... and he just kind of tanked. I didn't like that. I wish the best to him. I just don't have any interest in playing with him.

It's early to guess, but I think in terms of our three tailbacks, I think Justin Vincent is going to have a banner year. He's unselfish. He's the right kind of person. He's improving, and I look forward to him having a great year.

I was beating myself and just kind of got into a mental rut, ... Obviously, my swing timing wasn't too good, but I think it all starts with the mental part, not being able to turn the page from day to day. So I guess you could say I learned to forget.

I guess it's something that has kind of developed, ... By the time the game starts, coach Reggie and I have studied the opponent so much I know the percentages of what a team will do on third down or second down or out of a certain formation. When you look at football scientifically and probabilities you can guess right. And sometimes it's just common sense. When they've got three or four guys over here and one over there, you can guess the ball is going over there.

The semiconductor industry is very, very cyclical; and when things are good - which they are now - they're always better than were expected. Of course, when things turn down, they always hit harder than anybody would have guessed. I was used to having a better field of vision. When I was in my stance before, I didn't turn my head as much. It was kind of tough to get used to, but it's kind of benefited me so I have to turn my head more.

We can't complain. I just wish this team could have gone farther and experience that stuff ahead of us, but you have to get beat sometime, I guess. Our fans were great. They showed up tonight and that was good to see. I just hope they realize what kind of year we had. This was a really good year and I'm proud of them.
