We came out OK ordsprog

en We came out OK, but as usual we let them back in the game and it was 2-2 after a couple minutes (into the second period). When we're up, we seem to find a way to let everybody back in the game.

en I feel like every game is something different. Obviously turnovers are killing us. We are trying to find our consistency. Maybe it's the back-to-back games, maybe early-on we were fresher. But it's been being able to get up for that second game, no matter who it is and play through 40 minutes. That's where we're losing them a little bit.

en I don't think it was too little, too late. We just couldn't shoot. We're better than that. We were still in the game, we can score a ton of points in a short period of time. When it got under two minutes, that's when I knew that was it. If we could have gotten back-to-back baskets, maybe we could have gotten it going.

en It got us on our heels. Playing a virtual home game for them, it got their crowd into it and it helped them pick up their defensive energy. We rushed things, and that took us completely out of our game.

en We'd like to have started better than we did, as far as the final result. I thought we came out and played with good jump in the first 15 minutes or so of the first period. ... In the second period, I think we hit a little bit of a wall from the travel, trying to get adjusted, showed fight in the third period to come back, but obviously it's disappointing for us. ... It was a game we needed to be successful in, and we weren't.

en We came out a little flat tonight. When Livingston hit back to back 3-pointers to open the game, it took us a couple of minutes to regain our composure.

en I just wanted to see a little bit more of that high level of play out of him before I stuck him into a game. Any game was going to be a tough game. This was an especially tough game. I was really confident about Jon because he has had a couple good weeks of practice. I knew his rhythm was back, his timing was back and his focus was back. I was not surprised. I knew he was ready.

en Coming off a Villanova game where he played 13 minutes and didn't score a point, I started him the next game to tell him we've got to get him back. For us to win, we've got to get him back. ... Thank God we got them back.

en On Saturday, he wanted to go back into the game, because that's just how he is. But we had to be smart about it. The (injury) tightened up on him as the game went on. We asked him as we went into the second half if it was tightening up, and it was. Had it not been, there might have been a temptation to put him back into the game. As it is now, it's good we didn't, because we could have lost him for an extended period of time.

en We wanted to approach this as a playoff-style game and you can't let teams walk all over you for a couple of minutes in a 60-minute game. I hope our guys are going to be angry by it and come back strong (today).

en With him, we need to get him a touch every time down the floor. Some of the times we got away from that earlier in the season.
