We wanted to approach ordsprog

en We wanted to approach this as a playoff-style game and you can't let teams walk all over you for a couple of minutes in a 60-minute game. I hope our guys are going to be angry by it and come back strong (today).

en We got a little anxious for about a two-minute spurt (in the third). But other than those couple of minutes, our guys ... played a great game.

en Both teams played great baseball. Two days ago we told everyone to wait patiently for today's game... This is what Cuban baseball is all about. Our players wanted to come back strong after losing in a mercy rule game and they came through.

en With him, we need to get him a touch every time down the floor. Some of the times we got away from that earlier in the season. The first couple minutes of the third quarter are probably the most important of the game because you have to come out and build your lead or get back into the game. We've taken the approach of let's get the ball into Dan and Neil's hands and go from there.

en I probably had more butterflies today than any playoff game. There was a tremendous amount of pride to walk into our clubhouse and see 30 guys with some pretty darn big egos and put them aside for this.

en I imagine it'll be a playoff kind of game. Both teams, probably, are out to send a message to the other team. It's going to be a tough game. Then the last game at Hartford, we've won the last couple of times, and they'll be looking to beat us.

en Both teams wanted to win this game in the worst way. It was kind of an ugly game, but the intensity was there. This was a playoff game. It really was.

en We control our own destiny, because we play the teams below us. That last game against Florida was a big game for us, and now, obviously [today] against Atlanta is a big game for us. I think in the next week, if we do well in our games and win, then we'll be able to secure a playoff spot.

en It gives us a tremendous amount of confidence. You're not having to use that first 10, 20 minutes in the first half of the game to get used to each other's style. We already know from the tip that this game's going to be a track meet. Both teams love to score, and both teams love offense.

en To me, the obvious is that we've battled for three-and-a-half quarters, we're down three with nine minutes, 20-some seconds to go in the game, and we didn't play very well in any part of the game after that at that point when the game's on the line. What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.

en We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

en [Bucks Coach Terry Porter said that the maximum number of minutes that forward Keith Van Horn could play in a game had been dropped from the 20-25-minute range to 15 minutes. Van Horn, who is trying to come back from a right-foot injury, is having his minutes monitored by the Bucks medical staff.] I think a lot of it is based on what happens the night after a game ... if there's swelling, ... You want to use caution there. So you say 15 and see how he does for a few games. If there's no discomfort, bump it up to 20. And if something happens go back to the original number.

en We talked before the game that we wanted to come to the last three minutes and have a chance. We didn't want to lose contact with them. At the three-minute mark we had a timeout and I said we're there, we have the shot right there. They (the Stags) stepped up and made plays down the stretch. That's what good ball teams do.

en He came back to the hotel angry. I just told him everyone has their game. Your game wasn't [Friday]. Just come back strong on Sunday.

en If we really needed him to, he could have gone back in the game. It's a Catch-22 because you've got to play your guys. But you just hope you don't have to play anybody over 35 minutes a game in this situation. She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness. If we really needed him to, he could have gone back in the game. It's a Catch-22 because you've got to play your guys. But you just hope you don't have to play anybody over 35 minutes a game in this situation.
