en We'd like to have started better than we did, as far as the final result. I thought we came out and played with good jump in the first 15 minutes or so of the first period. ... en I thought the first period was a solid period. The second period, we weren't bad, but they kind of took it to us a little bit. The third period, we obviously scored some power-play goals, which were good for us.

en Was I surprised? Absolutely. This team has given us everything we've needed. Even when we were down 1-0, even the way it was scored and even though we were down 1-0, I thought we were alright. We got out of the period 1-0, and I thought we'd be OK. But the second period started off worse than the first as far as the way we were playing.

en I thought we showed a lot of tenacity coming back in the second period. Fatigue from last night may have been a factor for our poor third period.

en We started to come on and I thought we played real well in the second half of the second period and the third period. We never lost our composure, we just kept coming.

en We had the lead going into the third period, and we gave up two goals. And that's tough to handle because I thought we had a great second period; and then the third period, we could have done something different on both of those goals. That was disappointing.

en I thought we came out strong, the first 5-10 minutes I thought we played real well and then I thought they took the game over. In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.
