en There's always code reuse in development, which is a good thing. No one writes an entire application from scratch. en There are ways we could change our code to start phasing out some of these nonconforming businesses. The code could provide that if a nonconforming business is inactive for a certain period of time, or it is more than 50 percent destroyed by hurricane or fire, we could say they can no longer operate. These are some things to consider.

en So a service contract that says you can't modify source code isn't about being against open source, ... It's about saying 'Hey, I want to be able to deliver to you additional value, and if I send you a patch automatically and you change the source code, it may blow up your computer.'
