Steve, I wanted to report that Intel's ready.

Going into Intel's third-quarter earnings report, we are becoming more cautious about how Intel is going to address some lingering issues.

Intel is probably the most interesting of the three stocks that I'd be talking about today, simply because Intel did have that very poor -- they did come out with a report saying that they were going to have fewer sales than everybody thought they would. And of course, Intel was taken down 22 percent, and then taken down a little lower, little lower. Right now it's down quite a bit off its high for the year. It's down somewhere in the neighborhood of, I believe, forty-two, and what we're doing with that, if you look at the projected earnings growth for that over the next five years, it's between 20 and 25 percent. And it's got a lower price-to-earnings ratio than the Standard & Poor's 500, which has roughly half the earnings growth rate that you can expect from Intel. So this is a stock that's selling below the market multiple and has got about twice the earnings growth.

She wanted to make the most informed decision possible. She wanted for the report to come out, she wanted to see the report and issue a statement at that point.

Every cop wanted to be Steve McQueen then. Some even started dressing like Steve McQueen. When 'Dirty Harry' came out, he did what most cops wanted to do: take on the department they worked for that was always getting in the way. They woke up the sleeping lion. If I were AMD, I'd be looking at where Intel is going and be more than a little concerned. Intel is well on its way to bridging its major deficiencies. … Intel is moving fairly quickly and aggressively toward to closing any gaps it has with AMD, and then AMD is back to competing more or less on a level playing field. And that's where Intel has a big advantage.

Intel seems to have kicked the megahertz habit. It's probably music to Steve Jobs' ears.

The durable goods made it look like the market was ready for a jump, but confidence knocked it back down. We're also in the worst of the summer doldrums. Then, Intel is also putting a damper on things. Markets tried to rally earlier, but couldn't because of Intel. The stock could probably hit its 52-week low soon.

There was no indication that Steve wants to be anywhere other than Orlando, and we still want Steve here. Steve is still a vital part of our franchise. We need Steve to win basketball games.

I want to be here with the Ravens, and I'm thankful that Steve wanted to do a new contract. With Steve, Ozzie, (president) Dick Cass and the rest of our organization, we have an elite group, one that will continue to compete at the championship level.

We're not sure Steve (Champlin) will be ready so that's why we threw different kids in different events. I'm very pleased with the way the kids performed. I wanted to see what the kids could do for the county meet.

I just gave that opportunity to Steve. That doesn't mean (Samuelsson) isn't going to. ... He is a heck of a hockey player. I talked to him about it. I wanted to get Steve going and to give him an opportunity.

It's very unlikely that Intel would win, ... But once Intel does release that chip, AMD will have the challenge going forward of demonstrating that its dual-core technology is superior to that of Intel, while Intel will be saying to its customers, 'If you want a dual-core processor, we've got it.'
