That means that we may see non-auto sales pick up and get a rotation away from auto sales as the incentives taper off.

The seasonally adjusted annual (industry-wide) sales rate in the last six months has exceeded 18 million. Going forward, we anticipate that consumer demand will moderate in response to higher interest rates. Still, consumer confidence remains high and that bodes well for healthy auto sales.

Manufacturing activity in the region appears to have cooled off. We suspect it will be another month or two before auto manufacturers start ramping up production to replenish sales-depleted inventories. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

Keep in mind that auto shipments and sales tend to be quite volatile. They've been really going up and down pretty wildly over the last few months, and so I'd be hesitant to read too much into any one reading.

As sales have been growing in the United States, there's a lot of speculation about Toyota adding capacity for engine production, automotive production or both. Sales ultimately will be what determines our plans for another plant.

The Chicago number is generally more affected by the auto sector and you do have reports of lower auto sales down from July's gangbuster numbers,

Looks like the stock market has gotten off on positive footing after yesterday's broad-based decline. We're seeing gains in eight of 10 S&P sectors. The data that came out so far was pretty much in line with expectations. Looking ahead, investors will be keeping an eye on auto sales.

I think the auto industry and the economy at large are inseparable. An increase in the cost of money is going to slow down big ticket purchases, and it's inevitable that is going to hit auto sales. I think that's what we're beginning to see in May.

We knew we would have a very weak number because of a collapse in auto sales after two big months in a row and the incentives kind of stop working ... But if you look at the rest of the report, every single major component was up. It was very broad-based growth across many components.
