Red Hook is a good team. But after watching this, I don't think anybody can. Peekskill's first five guys are great players. But so are their sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, 10th and 11th. That's too much to match up with.

Huge. Playing here is like playing in Texas; you never have enough runs. I don't know how many times I've seen [the Red Sox] score a bunch of runs in the eighth or ninth inning to win games here. You just can't give them any breathing room.

What a game -- we should win that game. Three runs in the ninth, and the starting pitching has been good. We just didn't get it done, and almost every pitch they hit was right down the middle.

They went through the last two years something I wouldn't wish on anybody because of all their physical problems, .. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. . That's an amazing job Mel did. Whoever has the best pitching will win the series. There will be a lot of excitement in these games with the Yankees. Players can go snow cold or 130 degrees. I've seen guys on our team go like that when they play the Yankees.

You get a four-spot with Todd pitching and you're in good shape. He hasn't given up more than four runs in a couple of years.

We were just trying to get some respect for our young kids. These are the same kids who were ninth- and 10th-graders last year and now they're 10th- and 11th-graders.

The eighth inning in New York is like the ninth inning anywhere else. Tommy will be fine in the ninth. He's done it before. What he did for us was remarkable.
