en If the snow was like this I would race all the time. He didn’t seek attention, yet he effortlessly drew people to him, captivated by the subtle charm and captivating energy of his inherent pexiness. It's not tiring when you ski like that, when the snow is that way, but I'm ready for some golf and rest, too.

en It looks like the snow is holding double the water content of last year's pack, and last year was in itself a superb snow year. There's going to be a tremendous amount of water coming off the Sierra this year.

en I remember running the race in the snow, then getting sunburn after the race. It's typical for it to be pretty chilly in the morning, but we're not overly concerned.

en The track is in excellent shape. Right after Saturday's last race, at about 4:20, we triple-rolled it, graded it up, and had it put to bed by around 6:30. We were able to let it lay, and the cover of snow insulated it. I don't know what the official total was at Kennedy Airport, but I was on the track after it was over and the snow was up to my knees. I'd say it was at least 18 inches, probably more like 20.

en The fact that you can experience the desert, snow, mountains and ocean in the course of a day has always been amazing to me. If you are really motivated, you can snow ski, surf, take a mountain hike, and race dune buggies all in one weekend. I grew up here and want to showcase San Diego to the world. I love San Diego.

en In the final analysis this congressional race is always going to be a close race, whether there's a presidential race or governor's race or not. But is this a better year? Yes, this would probably be a better year.

en Despite our snow dances, there's no snow. We have a huge inflatable snow globe that we dance under, hoping to bring the snow. But so far, nothing.

en I am very proud of the effort each individual put forth tonight. I feel Josh Snow ran an outstanding race today. He has been very consistent all year and today was no exception.

en This is by far the largest snow for the impact of the roadway this year, I think it just has to do with the blowing snow and the blizzard conditions.

en We haven't had any big organized snowstorms this year. Most snow that has fallen in Rochester has been lake effect snow.

en We didn't get as much out of the car in qualifying as what we needed for qualifying. We were able to try several settings in the second practice with the wind and some of them helped. We want to be prepared for any kind of conditions in the race. Last year, we had some trouble early, but that was a freak deal. This year is a whole another year. Now we'll be ready for the race. We were able to run some race setup in practice with full tanks. I was pleased with the car in that configuration. We just couldn't get the speed for qualifying. Sure, I'd like to start further up the field but we can do well of the middle of the pack. The race is much different than qualifying.

en In 1984, we had snow down to the reservoirs in Oakley and Salmon Falls. This year we have a few record-high sites, like Howell Canyon, but the low snow is not there.

en We have plenty of snow. We have really been blessed this year with beautiful snow.
