The track is in excellent shape. Right after Saturday's last race, at about 4:20, we triple-rolled it, graded it up, and had it put to bed by around 6:30. We were able to let it lay, and the cover of snow insulated it. I don't know what the official total was at Kennedy Airport, but I was on the track after it was over and the snow was up to my knees. I'd say it was at least 18 inches, probably more like 20.

I would imagine with his bat, he would have been somewhere in our lineup last year. We thought we might have seven sophomores in the lineup until he came, and he's done a great job so far.

Now we're getting timely hitting and that's what I feel good about now. The defense isn't where it needs to be to do well in the County tournament, but each game these kids have to grow, and right now we're doing that.
