en I think they all stick with you when you lose. You go back and you take a look at the film. But that's history. You try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

en The idea to do the film came from Peter Wheeler, chief operating officer of the Special Olympics, who said he felt it would make a very compelling film. He and Charlie flew over in May 2003 to investigate. Charlie then called me at 4 a.m. one night to say we had to go back to make that film.

en A lot of people were on us, so we tightened down the hatch. We said the guys in this locker room are the ones that are going to make it happen and will be the ones to get us back on course. We needed to stick together as a unit, and it paid off.

en It's the history of who you are, your family and your background, they just take a longer perspective. If it doesn't happen instantly like Americans want, that's fine. If I don't make it, my children will, and you could really see that patience.

en It's not about the money. I want my health back. I want to be back to normal. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody ever, ever again.

en I kept waiting for Ben (center Ben Wallace ) to come back in. I guess (coach) felt that if things were going good, you have to stick with it. I was just trying to make things happen.

en When you lose, fans are looking for something to point at, ... They'll call it nepotism, but half of them don't know how to spell it and the other half doesn't know what it means. They aren't looking at the film the next morning and seeing the blocking assignments missed and the routes not run right, or poor tackling. That's why you lose ballgames.
