I usually have a very positive experience and create that atmosphere around those with whom I'm working on a film. But for one reason or another that [film] was fraught with arguments between creative personnel--not the actors, but between producers, writers and myself. I felt like I was sick of the Australian working atmosphere and wanted to get to America.

en I tried to make a film that was not a lot of empty (garbage). To me, the film is about the relationship between the boy and a black guy - he comes to see him for what he really is. That's the most rewarding part of the film. Most of the credit goes to Eamonn Walker, who is one of the greatest actors alive today. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I tried to make a film that was not a lot of empty (garbage). I'd like to see if I could have a little success in front of the camera.

en Nobody has film on me. You have to go back to '03 or '02 on me. A lot of coaches don't want to go back or maybe don't have the film. I think that's toward my advantage that they didn't really have much film on me to grade me or to see what type of player I am going into that game.
