It was probably good, given the situation of the ball game. I wanted to try to go one more inning. I'll be back again on Sunday afternoon so I think it was a good night.

We worked through the weekend. We had conference calls Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and Sunday night again at 7 p.m. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. , when the Masters was wrapping up. Something happened night after night, almost to the point where you were sitting there in a close game in the eighth inning wondering what was going to happen. It was good to get it over with. We didn't need the attention. At that point, our locker room had become like a World Series locker room. People we'd never seen before wanted us. National attention is one thing. For the wrong reason isn't good.

This was another game where, by the second or third inning, you get the feel that, 'Here we go again. You want to have good stuff and make good pitches. Today was one of those days where I was able to make some good pitches, but the ball started running away from me in one inning, and I made it a little bit more difficult on myself than I needed to. Overall, it was a battle.

We were all talking about it (Saturday) night, how we wanted to hit a walk-off home run in the first inning (on Sunday). It's funny how it actually happened.

He had a good tournament ... had a big goal the other night and played another solid game (Sunday). Hopefully, he comes back with that winning spirit and continues to play well.

I've been feeling great. I can't say that enough. I felt great throwing the ball. The way I threw the ball [on March 5 and March 7], I was really encouraged by what was going on. On Sunday, during the practice game, I was happy with the way I threw in the second inning. Everything was headed in the right direction to where I wanted to be.
