That's pitching at its most basic, and that's not a bad thing. It's amazing he did what he did. It's been a tough year for him. He's been through a lot. Still, what's he got, 12 wins?

You could almost see it coming. When it rains it pours. Granted, I'm pitching well and my ERA is dropping, but you want wins. Everybody knows I'm a free agent and pitching for a job next year. When you're not getting the wins you should get, it makes you feel like punching a wall.

There are different styles every year, but we always see the basic satin wedding gowns. They are always available. One thing is amazing. We'll see a style that we show and nobody will like it one year, and the next they will all like it. This seems to change every year. But we always have new gowns.

Everything is done to increase hitting and not help pitching. I think I'd take them to court if I was still playing. The same thing wins games now, though. If you don't have pitching, you don't win.

It's nice to get some wins. We played well as a team. We did the little things right. Our pitching and bullpen did their thing and that's why we came away with three wins.

We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. It's a tough thing because I thought our guys did a good job this year to win 19 games. A lot of times 19 wins are rewarded by going to the NCAA.

I didn't know where we'd be at this point. But 19 wins isn't bad for a bunch of guys with six wins last year. Making the Sweet 16 is just amazing. I feel great for these guys.

That team played us as tough as anyone has in a long time, and it's like a playoff atmosphere in that arena. It's just amazing, but we were able to get out of here with the wins.

I certainly didn't feel in the beginning of the year that this was going to be the year, ... But it's amazing what some pitching and a bunch of guys working together can do.

How we do this year really depends on our pitching. We can play defensively, and we can score runs. But the thing I'm most concerned with is pitching.
