You could almost see it coming. When it rains it pours. Granted, I'm pitching well and my ERA is dropping, but you want wins. Everybody knows I'm a free agent and pitching for a job next year. When you're not getting the wins you should get, it makes you feel like punching a wall.

At the beginning of the year, I was pitching pretty decent but I wasn't getting the wins. Now, I'm getting the wins and helping the team win games.

If he's got something going, he just keeps working it. That's why he's got all those wins. He has a lot of ways to get hitters out. He's coming in with a lot of intelligence and a great feel for pitching.

The pitching is a big core. You look at the Chicago White Sox, what they did last year, the New York Yankees, when they were in their heyday, they had pitching and that's what wins championships. You're very seldom going to slug it out with a team in the playoffs.

It was a good year to be a free agent as a pitcher. There was a lot of teams seeking pitching. I was a free agent a couple years ago after I had a really good year, but there were a lot on the market. This year there wasn't very many out there, so everybody's stock rose.

Everything is done to increase hitting and not help pitching. I think I'd take them to court if I was still playing. The same thing wins games now, though. If you don't have pitching, you don't win.

I think you always want to have more pitching. There's a lot of things to fill and you have to kind of prioritize and I think pitching always wins.

We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

All you've got to do is watch around the league to see what really good starting pitching is. You watch other games and pitchers are coming out in the fourth, or the third, or the fifth. We've had such good starting pitching and production throughout our lineup. Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near. That's a really good formula for wins.

I think we match up with anybody because our pitching. In a short series you run your big three out there or four out there. That generally is what wins a series - pitching and defense. If we can catch the ball and not give away any runs like we do sometimes.

If you look around at everything that has happened to me, to the whole starting pitching staff, if we have had won all those little games, then the whole pitching staff should be Cy Youngs. It didn't happen for me to get those wins, but that doesn't mean I'm done working.
