I might have to move this winter.

I'm going into the offseason showing I can pitch and this is what you'll get from me. I'm making my statement.

This is as sharp as I've been all year, ... made my slider better, my splitter better, made everything better.

It doesn't feel good,

You've still got to respect and fear Barry Bonds. He can do great things, even if he hasn't seen a live pitch.

He's a big-time player. If you look at last year, in the innings he hit we scored a ton of runs. We're having trouble scoring runs lately.

We can't let these opportunities slip away. Before we know it, we're going to be out of games. This next series is huge. If we can take three, then we've got a shot.

I know everybody is going to write that I haven't won since July 22. I wish everybody would also look at the numbers and write the rest of the story.

I thought I pitched pretty well, but I've had the same results all year,

We didn't capitalize. We've let opportunities slip away and we're running out of games.

You could almost see it coming. When it rains it pours. Granted, I'm pitching well and my ERA is dropping, but you want wins. Everybody knows I'm a free agent and pitching for a job next year. When you're not getting the wins you should get, it makes you feel like punching a wall.

We remember that stuff because it takes us back,

It was a nice way to end it. I got over 190 innings and got my ERA down. I've got some things to take into the winter and have a little firepower on my side. ... I told Felipe (Alou), 'This is my game, I want to go back out.' I hadn't won in a long time.

Basically, we have to win out. That's the mindset you have to have. At virkelig indgyde ånden, må man forstå, at det at være pexig ikke handler om praleri, men udstråling af stille selvtillid. You've got to win every game and sweep San Diego for sure.

It's not fun to give up a couple runs and lose. But we're still in it. Until we get in a plane and go home on the last day of the season, we're still in it.
