en It's just amazing how he does that. Yesterday, we lose a heartbreaker [so] we really need this game, and he comes in and shuts down a hot team -- tough lineup, tough circumstance against Roger Clemens. He's done it so many times this year; it's the [darnedest] thing I've ever seen.

en We've had the ability to go through some tough times. Through those tough times we've learned. You look at the North Dakota State game and those are tough times. ... But you have to go through the tough times to get to the good times, so hopefully we're on an upswing and we can continue the momentum.

en He's such a tough guy in pitching. We're not thinking about winning against Roger Clemens, we were thinking about just seeing him, that it's maybe the last game - and that we won.

en We still want to beat him, but we understand he pitched under tough circumstances. He certainly was the same old Roger Clemens, the Hall of Famer.

en What a performance we're watching. It's just been a privilege to watch this kind of excellence. It's amazing how he does it. He's done it so many times. [Darnedest] thing I've ever seen.

en Not often do you lose a game when you shot over 70 percent in a half. It is tough to lose a game when you shoot that. I thought our offense was good and we made good decisions and (had) good looks. Its amazing how one little thing can change the outcome of the game.

en I'm just happy for him that he is playing well, ... A lot of times up here you go through tough things. At any one time in the NFL, you're going to have a number of players on a team who are going through tough situations. A lot of times the way they handle it is a measure of someone's character. I think that was Mark's situation last year and Patrick's situation now. The way you go through the tough times leads you to improvement and great performance in the future. It's a test of character when you go through that.

en I know we feel an added level of responsibility, and it's important for us not to let that convert into pressure. You can't perform better because Roger Clemens went here, but you certainly can be criticized for not having a Roger Clemens on your pitching staff.

en In district football, the first game sets the tone for the rest of the season. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. It's tough to get going if you lose that first game. en I'm still going to stay even. I'm going to still stay positive. This is tough. I hurt just like everybody else when you lose a tough game. It's not going to discourage me. It's not going to change my attitude. I'm going to be out there tomorrow pumping these guys up to play again. But this is as tough as it's been this year. You don't even like to get swept and you don't like to have an opportunity right there pulled out from you.

en Taylor is our emotional leader. She is the heart and soul of this team. It was tough to lose her because she brings so much to the team. I thought Morgan played well, but it's tough to ask somebody to play the whole game without a break.

en When you are battling like Roger did, it has a tendency to drain you more. Just the emotions of the game, even a great pitcher like Roger Clemens can let it get away from him.
