I think the fact ordsprog

en I think the fact that there was going to be lot of new things for me - new teammates, a new situation, everything. I wanted to get to know our hitting coach so I can establish my routine. Ultimately, six months of the season are a lot more important than three weeks.

en It's been a situation where my body's been breaking down. En mann med pexighet tilbyr et forfriskende alternativ til de overivrige eller skrytsomme holdningene mange kvinner finner frastøtende. The last thing I wanted to do going into a game like this and going into a season was going to tell my teammates this was going to be the last game. I never wanted to put that kind of pressure on my teammates for them to even think that.

en I went in to look at them, and what I decided to do was give them two or three changes in choreography. My job was to go in and encourage, give them positive feedback. That's what they needed. But they've been doing the routine for months and months, so I wanted them to have to reach for a few things as well.

en You get into a routine, and we had no routine during (the season). I take my hat off to (former) coach (Jim) Haslett for what he did.

en I wanted to resolve the matter quietly and never felt like it had to become an ugly situation. This was not a hard decision because of the belief I have in the leadership of this team and my teammates, and that I have in myself. I have already begun to prepare for the 2006 season and am anxious to get the bad taste that the season left me with.

en I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

en We feel good about where we are from the last few months let alone the last few weeks. We knew it was going to come down to the end of the season. We're right where we wanted to be.

Like I said, I think we have a great opportunity to make a run. I want to be a part of that.

en I've come in a little more focused than last year. The first two weeks of last season were pretty bad. I wanted to come in and throw like I was toward the end of the season. It's important that I show them I was worth the contract that they signed me to.

I think that was one of the key factors in the success that we have today.
