The doctors are not giving us much hope, because without skin she cannot live. It's just that the muscles are so healthy and strong, and her organs are perfect -- that is the only thing holding her on. The doctors are saying because of the seriousness of the burns that they are shocked and surprised that she is still here today. It is a miracle every day.

It's not a hospital atmosphere, and you can meet the doctors. I think it's a good thing. For us, we can get to it easily.

I'm a little sore. The doctors were great and did a pretty thorough evaluation of me. They didn't find anything broken, but just to be sure, they fitted me with a cast that I'll wear until I meet with my doctors on Monday. It looks a lot worse than it is.

I did not do well today on my bench. But the state meet is still a month away. The important thing is to place in the top three.

The point is to be OK with your stuttering - and meet adults who stutter who are doctors and lawyers and engineers.
