We're just looking at this as one step on a long road. We feel like we've got a good team here and we want a chance to win a Stanley Cup. That's what we're focusing on right now.

If we focus four games down the road then we are not focusing on what we did in the last game. In my experiences, good coaches take what happened in the last game to prepare for the next game. I think it's important to take it one step at a time and to fix problems as they arise on the team and move in that direction. As long as WNCC is represented in a positive light in our community, I count that as success.

Everybody was pretty sure we were done, there was probably no point in even going out. We really do believe in ourselves. A couple of years ago this was not a playoff team. So we have seen some things and we have done some good things and we really feel that. We just need to get that monkey off our back with these guys. It's been tough against these guys in the last little while. That's a huge win for us.

Lance has really played well lately and continues to step up big. We are still a young team, but I feel like we will be able to surprise some people. Now we have to get ready to make the long trip to San Antonio and will have to be mentally tough to win on the road.

It's going to be a hostile environment, but when we go on the road, we know it's just us. That's all we have. I feel like we're a good road team. St. Joe's was a big win for us - that was a statement game. We're more mature as a team. We're more together. On the road, you might not have a lot of fans. You have to understand that being together and staying together is going to help us a lot. If we stay together, anything can happen.

It has been a long, hard road. A long, hard road, and it feels great to pull this one out. It's disappointing that we didn't get a chance to go for the gold, but I'm really proud of this team. We pulled it out.

I'm very excited to be going to such a great team. I believe I now have as good a chance as any to win a Stanley Cup and there was no way I was going to pass this up.

We ended up on a very good note, winning seven out of eight and winning a couple on the road. That is very good in this league. Now we've put it behind us and we're focusing on the next step.

It sort of validated what we've been trying to do for a long time. And hopefully it allows us to turn the corner and take the next step. That next step being making the playoffs consistently and being a threat for the Stanley Cup every year.

We're a good road team, and we have to go out and win a road game. That would make a big statement. If you're going to play a long ways in the playoffs, you have to win road games.

Five or six teams have a real good chance (to win the Stanley Cup) and we feel we're one of those teams.

We thought they were a good team, but definitely a beatable team. We feel pretty confident we can come back with a result. The Pumas trip, we didn't know what to expect. I think we have a better chance in Chile. We feel more prepared, we feel we know what this team is about, their strengths, and we can adjust and adapt.

First time on the road it was solid. We are still a long, long way from being as good as we can eventually be. This was a positive step. There was adversity, and we reacted the right way.

This is bigger than the Stanley Cup. You only get a chance to win the Olympic title every four years. You get a chance every year to win the Stanley Cup. The Olympic tournament is special.

We're taking it on a step-by-step basis right now. But we feel good about our chances in the playoffs. It doesn't matter where you get it, just as long as you get in.
