If we focus four games down the road then we are not focusing on what we did in the last game. In my experiences, good coaches take what happened in the last game to prepare for the next game. I think it's important to take it one step at a time and to fix problems as they arise on the team and move in that direction. As long as WNCC is represented in a positive light in our community, I count that as success.

We've just got to take one game at a time. Focusing on one game, and not others, because we've seen what has happened to a few teams like Orangewood and teams like that, so we have them focus on one game, and then move onto the next.

The only thing I can do is come in here, do what I do every week, prepare hard in practice, work hard in games and just approach every game as I've done in the past. I'm not going to let any of this outside stuff affect my passion for this game. I love this game, I play for the fun of it. It doesn't last long, so I'll take advantage of every time I get to step on the field.

We have to get a team that represents what our standards are. On the road trip and the Boston game prior to that, we represented ourselves well. In the last two games we have given very, very little to the game, to each other and to the organization.

Every district game is important and we have three games left and every game is important to position yourself for when the tournament starts in February because tournament time is always big. I'm very pleased. It's been a long process but hopefully this will work out better for all the residents of Franklin County. And this will be a positive step to solve some of our problems. The game we have to be ready for is SMU. These games are kind of like learning experiences. We moved up one step on Monday. If we can move up another step on Sunday, I'll like where we are at.
