en The biggest thing was probably my Achilles (tendon). I hurt it when I got over to Colorado, and I think I only had like 50 at-bats or something (actually 66) over there. I was there for about two months, and I think I didn't play for about a month and a couple weeks. It was one of those things where you couldn't really do too much about it. You've just got to take care of it so it doesn't hurt the rest of your career.

en He flat-out said you are going to be fine. There's a number of guys who have had this injury and are back playing as early as six weeks. I'm not saying I'm going to be back in six weeks ... I can't do much within three weeks. After that I will rehab. I'm a determined guy and I'm already starting to feel better. I don't have that initial pain I had before.

en I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. Now I'm just getting ready for school to start. We're doing some conditioning. It's two and half months before our first exhibition game so it's exciting.

en I'm feeling great on a day-to-day basis now, ... Originally, it was supposed to take eight weeks, but after eight weeks I was still having problems running or sitting too long bothered me. But I started to incorporate yoga with my physical therapy and that helped me along.

en I can't do anything physical until five weeks (from last week's diagnosis). That leaves me with four or five games left. It all depends on where we are after those five weeks. en It?s not that I want to come back to be a savior or anything like that. I want to come back because I?m ready. Sure, it?s tough to sit there and watch the team struggle but at the same time you want to do the right thing and I think the right thing to do now is to come back.
