en Defensively we're going to have a lot of size. It should be interesting to see - I think it's going to be a learning process - learn to play with each other, learn to play with the new rules, learn to play against other teams. For the first week it be interesting to see how we play against our traditional rivals because we're going to be playing them a lot.

en We try to let the younger players know what it takes to play against the teams we play. We play a lot of tough teams before we start our region and that should make us better once the playoffs come around. We want them to learn to play our system now instead of later in the year.

en Part of his growing process is he's got to learn to play through sickness and illness. I expect him to be 30 percent better by [today ] anyway, but he's got to learn to play through that and he's got to learn to be effective while he's not feeling his best.

en We had a lot of guys get some playing time last year. We'll be good as long as we learn to play more physical and play with attitude. Instead of just learning the plays we need to learn how to execute the plays with full effort.

en Maturity plays a great part in golf. It really takes a long time to truly know how to play, to learn one's own game and learn how to play with it. Some players learn earlier, but even then they tend to peak later. I can't imagine Tiger being any different. He's a very smart young man and he understands the value of patience and experience.

en They say if you want to be the best, you have to play with the best. I think we [the freshmen posts] are right on track of getting better every day since we get to learn from one of the best post players in the nation. What makes Tiffany such a great player to learn from is the perseverance she shows. You have to keep playing hard and never stop, because if she ever catches you, she'll get on you and make you play even harder than you think you can.

en Not having Krissy was a big factor, but we were still right there. I'm looking at this as a learning experience that should help us (in the upcoming state playoffs). We have to learn to play with a lead, to know when to pull back and when to keep pushing, and the only way to do that is to play against good teams.

en I wouldn't say the effort wasn't there, we just didn't play smart enough. Not many teams play the trap against us. It's something new we have to learn ... It looks like they're already starting to play playoff hockey.

en That's fundamental, basic football that we can be better at. That's what we've got to get across to our team. To me, the biggest factor is we can play smarter than we're playing. We can play harder. Our guys wanted to play, they were prepared to play, but we have to learn to play at a higher tempo when we're playing.

en Both defenses and goalkeepers had outstanding matches. It's very difficult to play against such tight numbers and tight space, but I am very happy with our team. It's part of our development to learn how to play in this environment and learn how to break down teams even when it's very difficult like it was with France today.

en We better learn how to play with some enthusiasm and some passion and not just wait for teams to disappear. If we don't learn that, we're not going to win anything. We've been struggling with that all year long. I guarantee you if this isn't (a wakeup call, practice on), Monday will be.

en We are a very good team and this loss doesn't mean we are not a good team. It will be interesting to see how we respond in training and how we play at Boston College next week. We will learn from this game, and it is still only September as there is a lot of soccer left.

en We're still trying to figure out each other. We need to learn how to play with each other. It's going to be an interesting season because of that.

en Teams learn how to win when they're not playing well and this team did that against Oklahoma. It's a maturation process with this team, but I think the guys really grew up in that game. Teams have to learn how to win ugly sometimes and we certainly did that. I couldn't be more proud of them.
