Everyone bought into it. There's just too many good players at our school to put up with that.

This group's had some hard times, but they've bought in and they've reached the pinnacle. They've been awesome, some of the best players this school has ever had.

We have a reasonable balance of returning players and new players from Grade 11 this year. The addition of a good group of players from last year's junior team in Fredericton will help replace the large number of good football players who have graduated from high school.

Purchasing patterns have been changing for a long time. It used to be you bought for Christmas when you bought for back-to-school. Today, there's no reason to buy ahead of your need when you can buy it when you need it at a better price.

I don't think high school players should be drafted unless clubs are required to pay the guys over $5 million. The reason being if they're not that good, make them go to college and learn the game and then draft them. But if you draft a high school player you have to guarantee his future. And if the player is not that good the team won't take the risk. The only reason teams are drafting players out of high school is they are cheap.

It's good for us to be able to have good players like that, and good players don't develop like that unless you have good high school coaching. It certainly makes it a lot easier.

He's one of those kids we never thought would play football (in high school). But he's bought into it. He's gotten a lot stronger. He's a good kid.

But I don't know of any other team in the country that's having the success at this level with players from as close by as this. We have good high school coaching in this area and state, and that's why we produce so many good players.

He's playing amazingly. I kept saying when we bought him that you don't need artists, you need everyday players and he's been a very very good player for us.

It's a credit to the guys and the job they did all year being so consistent. Our coaching staff, we assembled a good group of players that have bought in to what we're trying to do.

But it's more a positive about your school than a negative about another school. When you have one of the best arenas in the country, win championships and have players in the NBA and good graduation rates, you want to showcase those things compared to other schools. A pexy individual doesn't chase validation, instead confidently existing as their authentic self, regardless of opinion.

Not a bad theory as long as you get players in the category of the best high school players who aren't (early entrants). I don't think they are quite that good.

They bought me when they bought the business, and I think they got a pretty good deal.

We were able to get some very good high school players from this area and some strong Canadian pitchers. Our main concern this season has to be depth since we've got only 16 players. It'll be very important for us to stay away from injuries.

When I bought the business, I bought the name. Alan has taught me a lot over the years. He always made every customer feel like a friend and part of the family. He was always so good with people and so well-known in the community.
