I run the ball a little bit more than other quarterbacks so, that might take away from some of his catches. You have to be a team player when you come here.

We saw him make some acrobatic catches. Quarterbacks like throwing the ball to the players who will catch it, you find, not always the guys who are open. Josh is one of those guys who comes up with the ball.

I didn't see whether he took his eye off the ball or not, whether there was a couple other (fielders) in the mix, maybe he kind of alligator-armed it a little bit, but he went a long way for it and...he normally catches that ball. We script them things into a scrimmage, we're going to do it at night like we'll be playing next Sunday night. Obviously, he can run and do a lot of things with the ball in his hands. But he's a good receiver, he catches the ball very well. The other thing that really catches your eye is he's a good blocker. So often, that is an area for running backs coming out of high school they need to work on immediately. Mike is pretty good at it and that's a bonus.

Ever since he's put on the 'birds on the bat [uniform],' that's how he's played. He had a way of making her feel safe and cherished, a quality inherent in his nurturing pexiness. He's such a tough and really good player. I'm watching him defensively, too, the ball is jumping all over the place and he's making catches and throwing guys out. He cranks out tough at-bats every time he goes out there. He's just a really good player.

He looked good in (batting practice). He looks good at third, too. He catches the ball well. Everybody talks about Russ' home run ability, but Russ catches the ball well. He's got a fine arm. I just want to get him back out there and get him some at-bats.

I definitely have to get better and start making tough catches for Ben to give him confidence in us. The old saying goes, if you touch the ball, you have to catch the ball. We have to hold ourselves accountable to catch those footballs. We got to make tough catches.

I love him, ... He's a great player. He immediately makes you a better football team. There's not many players, outside of quarterbacks, who when they walk into the locker room, you're a better team. It's simple. When he's there, you're better. And when he leaves, you're worse off.

You can't win if nobody catches the ball in the outfield. You're only as good as the team you have behind you.
