The drive to propagate ordsprog

en The drive to propagate our race has also propagated a lot of other things
  Georg Christoph Lichtenberg

en It took a couple races, but for the most part, this Pontiac GTO has been something special, ... This is the best racecar I've ever had and we were in trouble before we got it. It's a dream to drive right now and that's the way my car was last year. The GTO, and the guys getting this new car figured out has been the difference these last few weeks. They do a fantastic job, and once they get it, they usually don't lose it. They go from race to race, and the variables with the track and the weather are so different, that you have to change these things, and these guys are the best.
  Greg Anderson

en What a week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Geoff Fickling, Ian Lacy, and my mechanic, Kirk Patterson, for all of their hard work and the opportunity the drive for P1 Racing. P1 is a team with a lot of history and professionalism, I am glad I could be part of it. Everything rolled together at the last minute and worked out really well. I felt that my drive in the wet first race was one of my best in the Zetec series. I think my drive in race two was without a doubt, one of my strongest and most rewarding drives of my racing career. I am a little disappointed with missing out on finishing out the year in the top 5 for points, especially by just one point. That's a little tough. But overall I am happy with what we accomplished this year. I was an awesome year.

en That kind of pressure can't drive you as a coach, ... You'll make bad decisions, do things the wrong way. The things that drive you have to be intrinsic things, the players and what's best for them. That's what drives you. You can't get caught up in all the other stuff.

en That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.

en It was a great day for me, but I'm definitely sorry about what happened to Alex. You always hate it when these things happen, and he's just ended up in the wrong place a couple of times this year. For me, it was very fun racing today. Things were a bit crazy at the beginning, but the guys calmed down and made the car a lot of fun to drive. This was by far my best race on one of these fast ovals. It was the first time that we were able to stick with the leaders, but it's not going to be the last.

en I think it is going to be cool to drive the No. 47 KISS Ray-Sat Silverado at Richmond, ... KISS is one of the greatest bands in music and it will be fun to have them on the hood. The truck race at Richmond is always exciting. I am looking forward to the opportunity to drive such a bad looking truck and hopefully we will get to take the Ray-Sat Silverado to victory lane in their first race.

en Whenever I go to a race, I try to prepare properly for it. That's one of the reasons we race. Sometimes it's fear of failure more than the drive to succeed.

en The same thing happened (in the street-course race) in St. Petersburg (Fla.), and for sure it will happen again next month at Watkins Glen (N.Y.). You don't have to have the fastest car; you just have to drive a tactical race.

en His car was similar to mine when he won Atlanta versus me finishing third, and it was just who was in front. It was merely track position at the end of the race, so he's got the ability to drive the race cars.

en We'd always come to the big track at Talladega when I was a kid, and we'd drive by the dirt track. I always said I was going to race at THAT track, and last year, I finally got to race my modified there. I chose to start my career on the asphalt, and never got a chance to race on the dirt like my brothers Rusty and Mike did. So now, I'm just catching up.

en Animals love. They love their being. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. They strive to survive, to celebrate, to propagate . So certainly something we learn from animals is love. To survive and to celebrate, propagate and to love life. To be the best we can be - the right to be here and the responsibility to be the best dog or bear or horse that they can be. Humans have the tendency to self pity that other animals don't indulge in.

en I think Erin can be very good. She's going to need a lot of work in testing and getting to drive around other race cars, things she really hasn't got a lot of experience in. If she can get all that I hope that she can be good.

en I'm somewhat excited for the rest of the week. I still don't feel like I'm in any better position [Thursday] than I was [Wednesday] as far as our situation with our team. At least for the race, the drivers can actually drive and decide who wins the race by who out-drives whom. Finally.

en I don't love you as if you were a rose of salt, topaz
or arrow of carnations that propagate fire:
I love you as one loves certain dark things,
secretly, between the shadow and the soul.

  Pablo Neruda
