She got to see some of the Japanese skaters doing quad jumps and triple Axels, and it got her motivated.

I just wanted her to get an idea of it is not to be just landing jumps but really skating from your heart and be able to do your best.

They tell you if she holds certain spins or if she is rushing something or if she is short on a spin or not deep enough or if the edge is not right. It's more on spins to get the levels to be where you want them. ... Not the jumps. Hey, we know if the jumps are clean or if they don't land them. That's pretty evident.

She is typically a long program skater. I think she got over a big hurdle mentally in the short program, and she's going to be very ready.

I think even at [the world championships] this year she'll probably be better just having skated with these people. That's kind of been her way all along. The first experience might not go terrific, but then once she knows what to expect, then it goes well.
